The Gran Canaria Convention Center closes 2022 with a considerable increase in its activity

In December, the Gran Canaria Conference Center hosted important events such as the XVII Official Gran Canaria Honey Competition and the VII Official Gran Canaria Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition, organized by the Primary Sector and Food Sovereignty Department of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria. These events are aimed at boosting local honey production and improving the quality of the island’s olive oil, as well as promoting and disseminating the cultivation of olive trees and their derivatives.

December was also the month in which the Manga and Comic Can Festival, which brought together fans of manga, anime, cosplay and Japanese culture in general, came back to the venue. Attendees were able to enjoy three days of activities, tournaments and contests full of color and imagination, with costumes that turned the fair into a true celebration of Japanese culture.

Other highlights of the month included the 2nd Covivienda Conference, organized by the Gran Canaria Housing Consortium in collaboration with the ULPGC, which dealt with the implementation of collaborative housing on the island.

From Infecar we are already working on the extensive calendar of events that you will be able to enjoy throughout the year 2023. More details of this calendar will be announced very soon, so stay tuned to our social networks.
