The Association of Conference Centers of Spain (APCE) held its General Assembly this Wednesday, January 18, during the International Tourism Fair in Ifema (Madrid).

The Assembly has expressed consensus in the assessment of 2022 as a very relevant and positive year, as it has allowed the activity to recover strongly and in fact faster than expected, to the point of having recovered mostly pre-pandemic figures, thus confirming the vitality of the sector.

“For this new year there is a general expectation of being able to consolidate the recovered levels of activity, focusing on margins, while the sector is suffering from a very significant increase in costs,” said the president of APCE, Iker Goikoetxea.
