Infecar’s Gran Canaria Conference Center is approaching the end of the year with an increase in activity

The month of October has been full of activity for Infecar’s Gran Canaria Conference Center, which continues its upward trend and expects to close the year 2022 with very good figures. Thus, October began with the second day of the Gran Canaria SUM Festival, which this year’s edition featured renowned headliners on the national scene such as Antonio Orozco, Ara Malikian, Kiko Veneno, Izal and Love of Lesbian.

For its part, the Insular Energy Council held Conecta Energía 2022 in the Canary Islands Hall of our venue, within the framework of the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), becoming the first meeting between teachers and students of intermediate and higher vocational training with leading companies in the renewable energy sector.

The same scenario was chosen by the Association of Neuromuscular Diseases of the Canary Islands (Asenecan) to celebrate the charity gala Canarias Life, on the occasion of its 15th anniversary, with the participation of Daniel Calero, Jorge Bolaños or Dácil Santana, among others.

In the political section, the Popular Party chose our enclosure to open the traveling convention of the PP of the Canary Islands, with the presence of the party president Alberto Núñez Feijóo. Likewise, Funcasor also brought to the Palacio de Congresos the Conference on Deafness and emergency situations: present and future, on the occasion of the celebration of its 30th anniversary.

In the Bandama Hall took place the Marine Datathon, an artificial intelligence competition organized by Spegc on the marine sector of Gran Canaria, which concentrated for three days to different teams to work with data from the sector and provide innovative solutions. The British Market Presentation, a professional meeting with the technical team of Gran Canaria Tourism, was held in the same space.

The Coelca Group held the COELCA-UNE Fair, a professional meeting organized by the group to meet with the electricity sector, bringing together manufacturers and suppliers of the main brands it distributes in the Canary Islands.

The show La mota de polvo, by the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria, offered five sessions at the Sala Canarias, four of them dedicated to schoolchildren and one for families, in a musical tale that continues to thrill 30 years after its premiere.

The month of October was brought to a close by the University Halloween, a party with different musical performances on two stages, which concentrated the youngest audience of the island.
