The latest evaluation of transparency portals periodically conducted by the Transparency Commissioner of the Canary Islands has awarded Infecar, the Gran Canaria Fair, a rating of 10 points, an increase of three-tenths compared to the 9.97 received the previous year.

This outstanding score results from the clear and accessible information provided by Infecar on its transparency portal. This is essential to achieving a solid and reliable administration for all citizens.

Among the functions of the Transparency Commissioner and Access to Public Information is the promotion, analysis, control and protection of public transparency and the right of access to public information within the Canary Islands.

In the exercise of these functions, they are responsible for evaluating the degree of application and compliance with Law 12/2014, of December 26, on Transparency and Access to Public Information by the organizations and entities subject to it. It is, therefore, a critical indicator that evaluates an entity’s mandatory and voluntary active transparency.
