The two institutions sign an agreement so that Infecar employees can attend training and practical activities at the Madrid exhibition centre.
Madrid, 15 September 2023. – The Gran Canaria trade fair centre -Infecar- has today taken an important step forward in the transformation process it has been undergoing for some years with the collaboration agreement reached with Ifema, with which the Councillor for Economic Development, Minerva Alonso, has taken advantage of the existing synergies thanks to the work they have already been carrying out hand in hand in the organisation of Swim Fashion Week, to set up this joint work “so that Infecar, a venue with a vocation for transformation and modernisation, can benefit from the experience of a benchmark trade fair venue such as Ifema”, as the councillor explained at the end of the meeting, which was attended by the director of Infecar, Natalia Santana, the general director of Ifema, Juan Arrizabalaga, and the director of Communication, Raúl Diez.
This collaboration will be based on the agreement reached so that Infecar workers can go to Ifema and see the work they do with training and practical activities; secondly, analysing possible events or trade fair activities that Ifema has that could be positive for the island, around the economic sectors that involve development for the business fabric of Gran Canaria; and finally, through technical collaboration that allows Infecar to apply to its model questions about the operation, functioning and maintenance of a trade fair site.
“Infecar has undergone a remarkable transformation in recent years, and we want to strengthen its role on the island so that all economic activity moves through this site, and for this reason this collaboration will be very positive,” said Alonso.
