The Infecar Gran Canaria Conference Centre was the venue for xxxxx events during May, once again consolidating its position as the ideal venue for a wide range of activities, providing a perfect space for both the social and business fabric of the Canary Islands.
The month began with celebrating the eleventh edition of Canarias Comunica, the prestigious Canary Islands Communication Forum. This event was essential for professionals, creatives and all those interested in communication. The meeting explored creativity in the 5.0 era, discovering that humour, artificial intelligence and discomfort can be powerful allies to stimulate it. An experiential workshop tested these ideas, providing participants with the necessary tools to expand their imagination.
In addition, Infecar also hosted the seventh edition of the Motorcycle and Sustainable Urban Mobility Fair, the LPA Motown. The latest trends in sustainable mobility were presented, making this fair a benchmark event for lovers of two wheels on the island.
Goyo Jiménez, one of the most respected and admired comedians, made the Sala Canarias audience laugh with his comedy show “Aiguantulivinamérica 3”. Through his witty comparisons between the American and Spanish way of life, the artist managed to get a good laugh and entertain everyone in the audience.
In addition to all of the above, we were once again privileged to have Mario Alonso Puig in the Sala Canarias where we attended his lecture ‘You are much bigger than you think’ at Mentes Expertas. The speaker revealed the keys to adopting the best possible attitude and learning to believe in oneself, providing valuable tools for attendees to achieve it.
The same venue hosted the WABBA event, the regional bodybuilding and fitness championship, serving as a Spanish title qualifier. Athletes demonstrated their dedication and skills in this competition.
On the 29th of May, we celebrated Canary Islands Day in Santa Catalina Park with the Canariona, the event organised by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria in honour of the day that celebrates our culture and traditions. We enjoyed Canarian music and talent, with the participation of outstanding artists such as José Vélez, Víctor Lemes, Delia Santana, DJ Wanda Fuentes, Tabaiba Project, Arube, Tabaiba and Ptazeta.
Finally, to close the month of May on a high note, we kicked off one of the most awaited events of the year, Fisaldo, which will continue until the 4th of June and will attract numerous visitors interested in taking advantage of the incredible offers and promotions available.
We are very grateful to the companies and institutions that have trusted us to host their events.
