- The Palacio de Congresos Gran Canaria has been chosen to host this congress, one of the most important in the world on artificial intelligence and neuroscience.
- For 5 days Deep Learn 2022 Summer has turned the Bandama and Canarias halls into a meeting point for students, researchers and professionals.
After the success of Deep Learn Summer 2021, Infecar’s Gran Canaria Conference Centre was once again chosen to hold this congress, one of the most important in the world on artificial intelligence and neuroscience, which was attended by around 500 visitors from 26 countries and almost a hundred universities.
During the five days of the congress, from 25 to 29 July, the Bandama and Canarias halls hosted 21 courses and 3 keynote lectures, in which students, researchers and professionals delved into different areas of Deep Learning, such as natural language generation, 3D scene understanding, medical image analysis, representation of the visual world with neural networks or Deep Learning for physics and chemistry, among other subjects.
All the training was given by high-level speakers, including keynote speakers Wahid Bhimji, from the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Joachim M. Buhmann, from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, and Kate Saenko, from Boston University.
In addition, the participants were able to present the work they are developing in an open session and took part in two special sessions with industrial and recruitment profiles. They have also learned from Spegc about the opportunities offered by the island for data and artificial intelligence projects and have attended the talk ‘Deep Learning, Technology and Transfer’, given by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
We are very proud to have been the chosen venue for the sixth edition of this high-level training programme, which has been very useful for all attendees. Thank you very much for choosing our venue, we look forward to seeing you in 2023!
