The Opportunity Fair faces a weekend full of shopping with uninterrupted hours from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
On its third day, the 24th edition of Fisaldo, the Opportunity Fair, has already welcomed 11.000 visitors to Infecar for shopping, which translates into great satisfaction for the exhibitors.
As stated by the Minister of Economic Development, Industry, Commerce, and Crafts of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, Minerva Alonso, this fair was created “as a form of support from the Cabildo for commerce, offering the best deals these days at Infecar, reducing stock through this type of event, helping to promote new businesses, and strengthening established ones.”
The fair features 68 exhibitors of fashion, beauty, home, decoration, leisure, and entertainment, spread across the entire exhibition space at Infecar, incorporating almost 30% new exhibitors compared to the previous year.
Tickets for this edition can be purchased for 1.50 euros on the website www.fisaldo.es, as well as in person at the ticket offices at the venue. Additionally, entry will be free for people with disabilities, pensioners, retirees, children under twelve, and the unemployed, who must provide proof of their status upon arrival.
Program of Activities
In addition to the extensive exhibition space that characterizes the Opportunity Fair, Fisaldo also includes a program of parallel activities designed to enliven the fair and attract as many visitors as possible.
The popular Fisaldo Runway returns with various sessions where visitors can see products on sale at the venue, modelled by adults and children. The runway schedules for the weekend, taking place in Pavilion 5, are Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., and Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
Additionally, there will be Fisaldo Money raffles, held three times daily on Friday and Saturday, and twice on Sunday, with two winners each time. All visitors who enter the venue by scanning the QR code at the entrance are automatically entered into the raffle. Winners are announced over the PA system and on the website fisaldo.es, and receive a 100-euro voucher to spend at Fisaldo exhibitors.
The event will be further enlivened with live music in the food area by the group Los 600 today at 6:00 p.m., and Señor Natilla tomorrow, Saturday the 15th, at the same time.
Advice from the Canary Lung Cancer Foundation
As part of Infecar’s establishment as a Tobacco-Free Space, during this edition of Fisaldo, the Canary Lung Cancer Foundation is offering advice to all interested visitors and exhibitors on quitting smoking throughout Friday and the weekend.
Infecar is the first fairground in the archipelago to position itself as a Tobacco-Free Space to promote healthier environments, meaning smoking is not recommended in the venue’s outdoor areas. Informative signs in these areas and semi-covered zones indicate that it is a tobacco-free space.
The 24th edition of Fisaldo, the Opportunity Fair, is promoted and financed by the Cabildo of Gran Canaria and organized by Infecar, with Cajasiete as the official collaborator and the collaboration of the Gran Canaria Chamber of Commerce.
