- The key event for the renewable energy and water sectors in the Canary Islands is finalizing preparations for its 14th edition
The leading players in energy and water, both regionally and nationally, will return to Infecar from November 27 to 29 for the 14th edition of the International Canagua and Energy Fair, a premier space for clean energy that fosters new business opportunities, models for energy generation, efficiency, desalination, water reuse, investment, promotion, and collaboration in the water-energy nexus.
The Canary Islands’ experience serves as an exportable development model for the rest of the world, offering small- and medium-scale solutions through expertise in the integrated water cycle and clean energy utilization.
Free tickets for the event are now available at www.canagua.es. Although geared towards professionals, the fair is also open to the general public, recognizing the growing interest in renewable energy solutions. 75 companies have been confirmed to participate, showcasing the latest innovations over three days.
The event is supported by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, the Insular Energy Council, and the Insular Water Council. It is organized by Infecar, with sponsors including Green Efficient, Bet Solar, Naturgy, and official collaborator Cajarisete, along with Proexca and the Gran Canaria Chamber of Commerce.
Technical Seminars
In addition to the commercial exhibition, Canagua and Energy will feature a rich program of technical seminars discussing critical current issues in water and energy. Topics will include the energy transition, geothermal energy, geopolitics, decarbonization, the digitalization of the water cycle, drought challenges, and water as an energy resource.
Furthermore, the fair will host “Speakers’ Corner” sessions, allowing exhibitors to present their products and services in 15-20-minute slots. There will also be a B2B meeting area for forging professional relationships. Business meetings can be scheduled in advance via the fair’s website, and registration will open soon.
