- Companies and the interested public can now schedule business meetings on the B2B Meetings digital platform, sponsored by Naturgy
The International Canagua and Energy Fair, taking place from November 27 to 29 at Infecar, will serve as an active forum for energy and water sector professionals. In addition to the various technical sessions in the event program, participants can now configure a preliminary agenda of meetings and encounters. This can be done in the dedicated space on the fair’s official website (canagua.es/reuniones-b2b). Through this initiative, sponsored by Naturgy, companies and even visitors can pre-establish a calendar of appointments according to their interests.
Canagua and Energy, promoted and funded by the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, the Insular Energy Council, and the Insular Water Council, is organized by Infecar, with Green Efficient, Bet Solar, and Naturgy as sponsors. The fair has Cajasiete as an official collaborator and the support of Proexca and the Gran Canaria Chamber of Commerce. Free tickets to attend this event can now be obtained on the website www.canagua.es.
Business meetings at Canagua and Energy can be arranged between exhibitors themselves or between exhibitors and fair visitors. All interested parties (professionals or public) can register on this management platform to access the profiles of international fair participants and proceed to send relevant invitations for these meetings.
These B2B meetings, joint in professional fairs, will be held during the fair on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th, from 10:00 to 18:30, and Friday, November 29th, from 10:30 to 14:00.
The platform facilitating these meetings is designed to promote contacts between industry professionals and between supply and demand and to establish an appropriate framework for the development of new professional agreements and alliances.
Fourteen editions
The International Canagua and Energy Fair celebrates its fourteenth edition in 2024, established as a reference event for key players in energy and water in the regional and national context. Currently, it has special focus on clean energies, which facilitate new business opportunities, new generation models, efficiency, desalination, water reuse, investment, promotion, and collaboration within the water and energy relationship.
This particular market, energy and water, also takes the Canary Islands as a region of special interest, as an exportable model in developing small and medium-scale solutions for establishing an integral water cycle and harnessing renewable energies.
Professional character, open to the public
Canagua and Energy is designed as an event with a strong professional character, but also open to the general public, with free admission (after obtaining tickets from the event’s official website). This November, the number of companies represented exceeds 75. The technical sessions program includes topics such as energy transition, geothermal energy, geopolitics, and decarbonization in the energy sector. And digitalization of the integral water cycle, drought challenges, and water as an energy resource, in relation to the water sector.
Additionally, several brief exhibition spaces have been planned for this edition of the fair: the so-called Speakers’ Corner, where companies will have a compressed space of 15 to 20 minutes to showcase their services and products.
