The 9th edition of MOVELEC brings together the electric mobility sector to promote sustainable transport

  • The event will take place on 18 and 19 April at the Agüimes Exhibition Centre, showcasing the latest developments in the electric mobility industry and facilitating the commercialisation of 100% electric vehicles
  • Movelec represents a unique opportunity for companies and organisations in the sector, which are invited to participate as exhibitors

The Canary Islands Electric Vehicle Show, Movelec, will hold its ninth edition on 18 and 19 April at the Agüimes Exhibition Centre and has already opened the registration period for companies wishing to take part as exhibitors.

Established as the leading meeting point in the Archipelago for electric mobility and new trends linked to sustainable transport, Movelec aims to present the latest developments in the electric mobility industry to the public, bringing this strategic sector closer to citizens while encouraging both awareness and the commercialisation of 100% electric vehicles.

In this context, Movelec offers a unique opportunity for companies and organisations in the sector to directly present their products and services, showcase innovations, benefits and technological advances, and contribute content that supports sector development by promoting sustainability, innovation and technology.

Exhibitors will also benefit from the environment created by the Electric Vehicle Show to foster synergies, strengthen commercial partnerships and maximise business opportunities, with the shared goal of promoting zero-emission mobility.

Sectors eligible to participate as exhibitors include 100% electric vehicles, electric motorcycles and bicycles, workshops and specialised services, as well as companies installing renewable energy systems and charging solutions, creating a space that represents the entire electric mobility value chain.

Companies and organisations interested in exhibiting can do so via movelec-canarias.com, where full information about the event is available.

Through its exhibitors and the conference programme prepared for this edition, Movelec once again places the focus on the environmental benefits of this technology, highlighting the significant reduction in pollutant emissions, improved noise levels in urban environments and the importance of progressing towards CO₂-free communities, in line with the eco-island concept.

The event will also serve as a platform to disseminate public incentives available for the purchase of electric vehicles, encouraging their adoption and contributing to an effective transition towards cleaner, more efficient and sustainable mobility in the Canary Islands.

In this regard, promoted by the Cabildo of Gran Canaria through the Island Energy Council, and organised by Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria, the event aims to bring new technological trends closer to both the general public and industry professionals, supporting the creation of more sustainable environments.

In previous editions, visitors have shown interest not only in discovering first-hand the current market offering and its benefits, but also in learning about available incentives for purchasing electric vehicles and installing charging infrastructure, as well as keeping up to date with the latest trends in electric mobility.

Movelec is supported by Cajasiete, the Agüimes City Council, and the Electric Vehicle Users Association (AUVE).
