Infecar has prepared a wide programme of activities for the whole family, including workshops, shows and outdoor attractions. Popular YouTuber and Los Compas founder Invictor will join children on 3 and 4 January.
Planeta Gran Canaria returns to Infecar Feria de Gran Canaria, on 26 December to celebrate one of its most special editions. This year, the Christmas family event celebrates its 25th anniversary, offering a programme full of new features and surprises while maintaining the same spirit that has accompanied it since its beginnings.
For nine days – until 4 January – families across the island will once again be able to gather in a space specially designed for children. As every year, the event transports boys and girls to a universe filled with activities that invite them to enjoy and take part in a wide range of adventures.
This is a fair that “not only allows families across the island to come together, but also offers children educational leisure activities throughout the Christmas period,” said Minerva Alonso, Regional Minister for Economic Development, Industry, Trade and Crafts, during the presentation.

Some of those children, from the La Feria neighbourhood in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, attended the presentation of Planeta Gran Canaria, which was also attended by Amaya Peñate, from Fundación DISA; Pablo Sabalza Ortiz-Roldán, from El Corte Inglés; and Alejandra Cordero, from Fred. Olsen Express, sponsors of the event.
As in previous editions, activities will be organised into different thematic “planets”. Planeta Desafío will host outdoor activities and attractions, including trampolines, an obstacle course, paintball, five-a-side football, aircraft rides, super jumping and bumper cars, offering some of the most exciting challenges of the fair.

Planeta de Luz y Color will feature a programme of shows at the Convention Centre. At various times throughout the day, children will be able to enjoy the musical family show La vuelta al mundo, the parade El libro mágico de los cuentos, the family theatre show of the same name, and the family concert Superabuela: con amor todo es mejor.
In addition, on 3 and 4 January at 12:00 noon, Invictor, the popular YouTuber, content creator and one of the founding members of Los Compas, will take part in a live show full of action and humour. Children will have the opportunity to ask him questions and have their books signed. These books will also be available for purchase at the sales stand set up by Agapea Bookshop on those days.

Pavilion 5 at Infecar will host Planeta Diversión, with a wide range of educational and entertaining activities, including slime workshops, Christmas dessert workshops, board games and inflatables. These activities will be complemented by others taking place on the ground floor of Pavilion 7, such as the Cancionero Isleño workshop, a radio amateurs workshop, an escape room organised by Fundación DISA, and additional inflatables for younger children. The upper level of the same pavilion will host further attractions, including a bike circuit and a giant games play area, as well as puppet theatre, face painting, lettering, Hama bead workshops and character creation workshops. All of this will be accompanied by the family show Las Ayudantas Disparatadas.

Finally, Pavilion 6 will be dedicated to the most digital experiences, including video games, Las Palmas Unity competitions and SIM Racing.

To ensure that all children can enjoy the activities without limitations, Infecar will adapt the experience for children with additional support needs. Lighting will be dimmed during specific time slots, and priority access, reserved seating and sign language interpretation will be available for those who require it.

The venue will also feature rest areas and catering facilities, with two cafés and more than ten food trucks. Food services will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., allowing families to make the most of their visit.
Planeta Gran Canaria will be open from 26 December to 4 January, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., except on 31 December, when the fair will be closed, and on 1 January, when it will open only in the afternoon, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Tickets are now available at https://planetagrancanaria.es/ at a price of 5 euros per person, granting access to the fair and all activities and shows, except for the special performance by Invictor. Tickets for Invictor’s show cost 6.50 euros per person. Special ticket packages are also available: four tickets for 16.00 euros (4.00 euros per ticket), or ten or more tickets at 3.50 euros per ticket.
Pensioners, retired people, registered unemployed persons, children under 3 years of age and people with disabilities may attend the event free of charge.

Planeta Gran Canaria is promoted and funded by the Cabildo of Gran Canaria and organised by Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria, with Fundación DISA, El Corte Inglés, Fred. Olsen Express and Dormitorum as sponsors, and Cajasiete as official collaborator.
