- It will be held on the weekend of November 22 and 23, with the participation of 52 farmers and producers from the island
The 34th edition of the Km.0 Gran Canaria Fair will take place on the weekend of November 22 and 23, at the Agüimes Fairgrounds, organized by Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria. On this occasion, 52 farmers and producers from 14 municipalities of the island will take part in the fair, accompanied by the Canary Institute for Agri-Food Quality (ICCA).
Agüimes, the host municipality, contributes the largest number of exhibitors to the fair, with about ten vendors offering agri-food products, wines, and cheeses; specialists in pork leg preparation, microgreens producers, beer makers, and representatives from the Bocabarranco Salt Flats.
The other two municipalities of southeastern Gran Canaria, Ingenio and Santa Lucía, will participate with eight and six producers respectively, adding to the fair’s offerings with products such as spices, aloe vera beverages, bread, plants and flowers, honey, olives, and cheeses.
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Moya, Santa Brígida, Valsequillo, San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Arucas, San Mateo, Teror, Firgas, Gáldar, and Telde complete the list of participating municipalities in this edition, where visitors will also find mushrooms, jams, sugar cane, ice cream, juices, and pastries, among other products.
The Km.0 Gran Canaria Fairs aim to promote local products and give visibility to producers from the island’s various municipalities. For this reason, they are itinerant events whose location changes each time.
In addition, Km.0 products are not subject to long transport routes and play an active role in preserving the landscape. By consuming these types of products, the island’s residents contribute to a more sustainable world and a fairer trade model.
The Km.0 Gran Canaria Fair, held this time in Agüimes, will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., on both Saturday and Sunday, offering visitors the chance to purchase high-quality products and support the local economy. All information about the participating producers in this edition can be found on the website: https://km0grancanaria.com/aguimes-2025.
This 34th edition of the Km.0 Fair is promoted and funded by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria and organized by Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria, with the collaboration of Cajasiete.
