Creativity in the 5.0 era takes centre stage at the eleventh edition of Canarias Comunica

  • Social networks, interaction from digital platforms and a new way of communicating, reaching the public and transmitting a brand in the 5.0 era will be some of the central themes of the Canary Islands Communication Forum, Canarias Comunica 2023, which will delve into the new formats and current languages and marketing strategies in a market that is developing with mobile phones as its main allies, and with immediacy and creativity as key factors for success.

The eleventh edition of the Canary Islands Communication Forum, to be held on 4 May at Infecar from 4.30 p.m., will examine the transformation of communication and creativity, the new advertising formats of the 5.0 era and the professional and consumer profiles, marked by the pace set by social networks and digital platforms that have given a 180-degree turn to traditional marketing.

Promoted by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, organised by Infecar and with the collaboration of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Canarias Comunica will be a place for debate and networking, a meeting point for Marketing, Advertising and Communication professionals, companies, the media, advertisers, agencies and lovers of the sector.

The programme of this eleventh edition will feature professional profiles that have managed to adapt and grow in this frenetic universe of social networks, and that are current voices and success stories. The programme will be opened at 16.30 by the creative director of @IsabelitaVirtual, Isabel Martínez, with her talk ‘Thank you fear: creativity in times of uncertainty’, where she will explain her beginnings and the journey that has led her to have a profile that now has 616,000 followers on Instagram.

She will be followed by the advertising creative, consultant and content creator in her personal project @hazmeunafotoasi, Lorena Macías, with her talk ‘A meme brought me here: your portfolio can be where you least expect it’. From 5.20 p.m. onwards, the professional behind the @hazmeunafotoasí profile, which already has 271,000 followers, will share with the audience the new ‘Magical InfluRealism’ techniques that inspire her content.

 

The programme will close with the experiential workshop ‘Creative thinking: projecting from the unexpected’ by the director of Communication of the ULPGC, Ignacio Bordes, which will start at 18.30 in Infecar.
