Fimar already has over fifty exhibitors confirmed for its upcoming edition

  • The International Sea Fair, celebrating its 14th edition from June 6 to 8 at the Muelle Sanapú, consolidates its position as a key platform for the blue economy in the Canary Islands.

The International Sea Fair, which this year takes place under the theme Sustainability of the Canary coastline, is finalising its exhibition offering for its 14th edition, which will be held on June 6, 7, and 8 at the Muelle Sanapú in the Port of Las Palmas. With two weeks to go until its opening, FIMAR 2025 already has more than 50 confirmed exhibitors, matching the number of participants from 2024, and further establishing itself as the central blue economy platform in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in Gran Canaria, and across the Canary Islands. The fair will again occur in the same space as the previous edition, between the Onda Atlántica footbridge and the Poema del Mar aquarium.

Fimar 2025 is promoted by the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council, and the Las Palmas Port Authority. It is organised by the Ciudad de Mar Department of the capital city and Infecar, the Gran Canaria Trade Fair Institution.

The exhibitors that have already confirmed their participation include institutions, public and academic entities, sports clubs, citizen organisations, and companies from sectors such as nautical services and suppliers, leisure and water sports, the marine and maritime industry, the port environment, and nautical fashion. As such, the event continues to serve as a major forum to strengthen business relationships, foster commercial activity, and facilitate communication between the public and private sectors.

This sector once again finds an annual meeting point in Fimar to showcase the progress of ocean-related activities, support new initiatives in the field, share ongoing research and innovation, and present the business models and products developed by the participating companies.

The organisation still accepts exhibitor registrations for companies and entities interested in participating in this edition. The registration process can be completed through the official website.

In addition to the institutional and commercial offering, Fimar will also present a wide range of free public activities throughout June, including guided visits to Navy Maritime Action Ships and Search and Rescue vessels, children’s areas, boat rides, water-based exhibitions in the port, and a gastronomic area. All this in a setting designed for leisure and public enjoyment, reaffirming Las Palmas’ connection with the sea and its maritime tradition.

The official website, feriainternacionaldelmar.com, provides all details about this new edition of Fimar, the International Sea Fair, including its full programme, which is updated regularly.
