Through the Insular Energy Council and the Insular Water Council, the Cabildo of Gran Canaria announces the first edition of the Canagua and Energy 2024 Recognition Awards. These awards aim to recognize and foster innovation, promote sustainable practices, and highlight the importance of efficient resource management in energy and water. Each of the two categories, Sustainability and Water and Sustainability and Energy, will include recognition for social, collective, and business initiatives, professional career achievements, and academic work.
The call is open to all entities and individuals who have implemented significant projects, products, initiatives, or energy and water sustainability strategies. Your participation is crucial to the success of the awards. The reception of applications will be open until October 18. The winners will be announced on November 12, 2024, and the award will be presented at a public ceremony on November 28, 2024.

The 14th Canagua and Energy International Fair, funded by the Insular Energy Council and the Insular Water Council and organized by Infecar, will be held from November 27 to 29, 2024, in Gran Canaria.
This event positions Gran Canaria and the Canary Islands as an international reference in clean energy, facilitating new business opportunities, generation models, efficiency, desalination, water reuse, investment, promotion, and collaboration within the water and energy binomial.
