Through this website no personal data is collected from users without their knowledge, nor is it transferred to third parties.
In order to offer you the best service and in order to facilitate the use, the number of pages visited, the number of visits, as well as the activity of the visitors and their frequency of use are analyzed. For these purposes, the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) uses the statistical information prepared by the Internet Service Provider.
The AEPD does not use cookies to collect information from users, nor does it register the IP addresses of access. Only own session cookies are used for technical purposes (those that allow navigation through the website and the use of the different options and services that exist in it).

The purpose of data processing corresponds to each of the processing activities carried out by the AEPD and which are accessible in the register of processing activities.

Legitimation
The processing of your data is carried out in order to comply with legal obligations on the part of the AEPD, for the performance of missions carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of public powers conferred on the AEPD, as well as when the purpose of the processing requires your consent, which must be given by means of a clear affirmative action.

Data Retention
The personal data provided will be kept for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they are collected and to determine any possible liabilities that may arise from the purpose, in addition to the periods established in the archiving and documentation regulations.

Communication of data
In general, personal data will not be communicated to third parties, except for legal obligations, among which may be communications to the Ombudsman, Judges and Courts, persons interested in the proceedings related to the claims filed.

Rights of the persons concerned
To request access, rectification, erasure or limitation of the processing of personal data or to object to the processing, in the case of the requirements established in the General Data Protection Regulation, as well as in the Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on Personal Data Protection and guarantee of digital rights, you can send a letter to the data controller, in this case, the AEPD, addressing the same to the Spanish Data Protection Agency, C/ Jorge Juan, 6, 28001- Madrid or in the electronic register of the AEPD.

Intellectual and industrial property

The design of the portal and its source codes, as well as the logos, trademarks and other distinctive signs that appear in it belong to the AEPD and are protected by the corresponding intellectual and industrial property rights.
The Agency’s infographics and guides are published under a CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license that allows their reuse for non-commercial use, attributing the authorship and maintaining the same conditions (link to the license details).

Responsibility for the contents

The AEPD is not responsible for the legality of other third party websites from which the portal can be accessed. The AEPD is also not responsible for the legality of other third party websites, which may be linked or linked from this portal.

Through the information published on the transparency portal, the AEPD attends regularly and updated the principle of active publicity established by Law 19/2013, of December 9, 2013, on transparency, access to public information and good governance, with appropriate mechanisms to facilitate accessibility, interoperability, quality and reuse of information, as well as its identification and location.

Applicable law

The applicable law in case of dispute or conflict of interpretation of the terms that make up this legal notice, as well as any matter related to the services of this portal, shall be Spanish law.
