The International Canagua and Energy Fair returns to Infecar from 9 to 11 November

  • Those interested in attending the International Canagua and Energy Fair can already get their free tickets on the website www.canagua.es

The International Water and Energy Fair is finalising preparations for its 13th edition, which will take place from 9 to 11 November at Infecar, resuming its activity after four years of hiatus, conditioned by its biennial nature and the health pandemic. Tickets to attend this event are now available free of charge on the website www.canagua.es.

Canagua and Energy will bring together the main regional and national energy and water players in a space that aims to be the international benchmark for clean energy, facilitating new business opportunities, new generation models, efficiency, desalination, water reuse, investment, promotion and collaboration within the water and energy binomial.

The fair, which has a markedly professional character, will also be open to the general public, understanding the growing interest of the population in renewable energy saving solutions. With almost a month to go before Canagua y Energía takes place at Infecar, 55 exhibitors have already confirmed their participation in the event.

Technical conferences
The commercial exhibition will be joined on 9, 10 and 11 November by an extensive programme of technical conferences, in which the most relevant issues of the moment in terms of water and energy will be on the table. These central technical conferences of the International Canagua and Energy Fair will open with the inaugural presentation on Wednesday 9 November by the geopolitical analyst and lecturer Pedro Baños, who will be looking in depth at ‘The geopolitics of energy’.

The programme, which can already be consulted on the website www.canagua.es, will be divided into three blocks: a module dedicated to ‘Energy’ which will take up the afternoon of Wednesday 9 and the morning of Thursday 10; a module dedicated to ‘Water’, which will be dealt with on the afternoon of Thursday 10; and, finally, Friday 11 will be dedicated to analysing the ‘Regulatory Frameworks and Technical Regulations related to water’.

This programme of technical conferences will be complemented by some brief exhibition spaces, the Speakers’ Corner, where the exhibitors at this edition of Canagua and Energy will have a space for 15-20 minutes to present their products and services.

In addition, and as is customary at professional fairs, Canagua y Energía will have a space in which to hold B2B business meetings between visitors and exhibitors, where new relationships and professional alliances can be established. This agenda of meetings can be planned in advance through the fair’s website, which will open the registration period on Monday 17 October.

The 13th edition of the International Canagua and Energy Fair is promoted and financed by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, the Island Energy Council and the Island Water Council; organised by Infecar; with Cajasiete as official partner and the collaboration of the Chamber of Commerce of Gran Canaria, Proexca, the Canary Islands Technological Institute and SM Advance Energy.
