- Tickets can already be purchased in advance through the website www.animundo.es at the price of 1.50 euros
The countdown is on to one of the most eagerly awaited fairs of the year for animal lovers. Animundo, the Pet Fair, returns to Infecar on 18 and 19 November in what is now its sixth edition to continue to emphasise responsible pet ownership.
Tickets, which cost 1.50 euros, can already be purchased in advance on the website www.animundo.es. In addition, and in keeping with tradition, those who wish to attend Infecar can bring their dogs free of charge by filling in the relevant authorisation form, which can be downloaded from the website.
In this way, Animundo will once again be the reference point for professionals, families and animal lovers, who can find all the products and services for the responsible care of pets (but not for the sale of animals) in a single venue.
In this sense, the fair will have a commercial offer that includes services for animals, food shops, products for their enjoyment, and other animal welfare utilities. Also, as a novelty, this year, Animundo aims to promote fun for visitors who come accompanied by their dogs, who can use two swimming pools and two parks.
Professional day
Another new feature of this sixth edition of Animundo incorporates a professional conference to be held the previous evening, Friday, 17 November, at the Infecar Conference Centre from 17.00 to 19.00 hours.
This event, free of charge with prior registration on the website www.animundo.es, was created to provide a space for debate on current issues in the sector. On this occasion, the topics will be animal protection, the new Animal Welfare Law; and grief management.
Animundo is promoted and financed by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, organised by Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria; sponsored by El Corte Inglés; with the official collaboration of Cajasiete; and with the support of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council, the Gran Canaria Chamber of Commerce, the Island Animal Shelter, the Las Palmas Veterinary Association, Club Granky and Atap, as collaborators.
