The 31 days of May have been a busy month at the Infecar Gran Canaria Conference Centre. The return to normality in the trade fair and congress sector is increasingly palpable and proof of this is the activity of the social and business fabric of the Canary Islands, which has found our venue to be the ideal place to hold different events.
With all this, we began the month by commemorating International Nurses’ Day (IDN) with a Scientific Conference, a celebration organised worldwide by the International Council of Nurses with the aim of highlighting the vital role played by nursing care in improving the health of the population.
Our venue was also once again the chosen setting for the traditional 11th Parade of Angels of the Canarian Breast and Gynaecological Cancer Association, which is organised every year by this association in collaboration with the Spanish Cancer Patients Group.
The young people of Gran Canaria once again gathered at Infecar to experience the fourth edition of the Island Youth Fair #Rumbo and Youth Forum #TAGOROROR, a space where they found information stands, talks, workshops, thematic and leisure spaces, among many other informative, cultural and social activities.
In the Bandama Hall we experienced a new edition of the Youth with a Future Forum, this time under the theme ‘Gaming & eSports your professional life’, organised by the Society for Economic Promotion of Gran Canaria (SPEGC), with the support of the Incyde Foundation.
At the end of May, the LPA Motown returned after a two-year hiatus due to the health crisis caused by Covid-19. With more than 50 exhibitors, this event once again promoted the commercial activity of companies linked to the two-wheeler sector, promoted new products and favoured the social projection of groups, associations and fan clubs, with more than 90 activities for all audiences.
In addition to all this, the Gran Canaria Conference Centre also hosted meetings, conferences, workshops and presentations in the different rooms available for this purpose, thus responding to the needs of the Canary Islands’ social and business fabric.
