On 29 May, the La Isla de mi Vida Festival will hold its main public event in Santa Ana, with Attindamana at the heart of a programme that brings together identity, contemporary creation and the cultural roots of Gran Canaria.
Taking over from Canariona, the festival broadens the celebration of Canary Islands Day through a format that journeys across the island’s 21 municipalities, from the highlands to the sea.
Alongside this major event in Vegueta, the festival will also include a school and family-focused gathering on 22 May, with the participation of educational centres and municipal music schools from different municipalities. Two dates to celebrate the culture of Gran Canaria through a shared, contemporary perspective closely linked to the island’s talent.
