Autistic people perceive the world through their senses in a unique way. Understanding how they interpret reality is essential to better support them.

Plena Inclusión Canarias, with funding from the Government of the Canary Islands, is organizing the talk “Sensory Integration”, delivered by Celia Roldán, which will address:

• Interoception and autism: understanding internal sensations.
• Self-injury in the autism spectrum from an occupational therapy perspective.
• Strategies to improve nutrition in autistic people.
