- Nearly 23,000 people attended this Opportunity Fair, drawn by quality products at the best prices.
- This year, the fair celebrated its 25th anniversary with a special edition full of parallel activities that complemented the shopping experience
Fisaldo, the Opportunity Fair, has closed its commemorative 25th anniversary edition on a very positive note, surpassing last year’s attendance figures and consolidating its role as a strategic meeting point for boosting small and medium-sized businesses in Gran Canaria.
With 65 stands from sectors such as fashion, beauty, home appliances, home goods, decoration, automotive, and more, Fisaldo reaffirms its status as a flagship event for both the general public and businesses. For vendors, the fair provides visibility, a direct sales channel, and a chance to clear inventory in a festive and welcoming environment.
“This fair proves its value year after year in energizing local commerce and helping neighborhood shops across the island find a way to move their products. And once again, this year has been a success: the people of Gran Canaria have supported this space for connection, stock clearance, and promoting local commerce,” stated Minerva Alonso, the Island Councillor for Economic Development, Industry, Trade, and Crafts of the Gran Canaria Island Council. Nearly 23,000 people visited the fair over its five-day run, seeking the best prices and unique opportunities.
Exhibitors agree that Fisaldo is much more than just a clearance fair. It not only allows them to reach a large number of customers in a short time but also helps them clear out off-season or slow-selling items. For visitors, it’s a chance to get ahead of the summer sales and buy essential products at lower prices.
As in previous years, visitors were able to enjoy additional experiences alongside shopping, including fashion shows, live performances, and concerts, as well as nearly 60 raffles of “Fisaldo Money”—an added attraction of this fair, one of the longest-running events at Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria.
With this edition wrapped up, Fisaldo says goodbye until next year, leaving a positive impression on the participating businesses and the thousands of attendees who discovered quality products, good prices, and new shops from across the island.
Promoted and funded by the Gran Canaria Island Council and organized by Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria, Fisaldo—the Opportunity Fair—was held with the official collaboration of CajaSiete.
