• Nearly 22,000 people attended Infecar attracted by good products at the best prices at this Fair of Opportunities

To the satisfaction of the small and medium-sized businesses of Gran Canaria present at this edition, Fisaldo closed its doors this Sunday. Thus, the Fair of Opportunities has concluded its 24th edition, which again brought thousands of visitors to Infecar, who were attracted by the opportunity to obtain quality products at discounted prices for five days.

In total, more than 22,000 people have visited this edition of Fisaldo. This figure shows the general pleasure and satisfaction of the exhibitors, who have taken the opportunity to clear stock and products from other seasons. With all this, the business volume generated between Wednesday the 12th and this Sunday has been “very good” in general terms for the exhibitors of this edition, who conclude the fair with a great taste in their mouths.

The Councilor for Economic Development, Industry, Trade and Crafts of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, Minerva Alonso, has emphasized the “support of the public for the businesses that have come together at this clearance sale fair that the Cabildo of Gran Canaria organizes as a way of supporting the small businesses of the island.”
On this occasion, the fair had 68 exhibitors in fashion, beauty, home, decoration, leisure, and entertainment who gathered throughout the entire exhibition area of Infecar. This included almost 30% new exhibitors compared to the previous year.

It is also worth noting that the Fair of Opportunities has carried out a program of parallel activities that have served to liven up the fair and that has translated into visitors attracted not only by the offers but also by the concerts, fashion shows or the varied dining area.

This annual event, a reference in the Infecar fair calendar, is the ideal space for merchants to reduce stock and make themselves known to a much wider audience, achieving sales and promotion of their establishments.

Fisaldo, which will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year, enjoys excellent health that shines year after year in the response of exhibitors and visitors to the fair’s call.

Advice from the Canarian Lung Cancer Foundation

Within the framework of establishing Infecar as a Smoke-Free Space, during the celebration of this edition of Fisaldo, the Canarian Lung Cancer Foundation provided advice over the weekend for all visitors and exhibitors interested in quitting smoking.

Infecar is the first fairground in the archipelago to position itself as a Smoke-Free Space with the aim of promoting healthier environments. In practice, this means that smoking is not recommended in the outdoor areas of the venue, with informative signs in these areas and in the semi-covered areas indicating that this is a smoke-free space. The 24th edition of Fisaldo, the Fair of Opportunities, is promoted and financed by the Cabildo of Gran Canaria and organized by Infecar, with Cajasiete as the official collaborator and the collaboration of the Chamber of Commerce of Gran Canaria.
