- For five days, the fair will offer a varied commercial offering, with fashion shows, raffles, leisure space, and a sizeable gastronomic area
Everything is ready for one of Infecar’s reference fairs to meet again with its audience next week. Fisaldo, the Fair of Opportunities, will open its doors to its 24th edition on Wednesday, June 12. Five days of commercial exhibition will follow, focusing on fashion, beauty, home, decoration, leisure, and entertainment.
The Councilor for Economic Development, Industry, Commerce, and Crafts of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, Minerva Alonso, and the General Director of Infecar, Natalia Santana, presented this event on Wednesday morning. “Fisaldo returns to the fairgrounds as a tool at the service of small and medium-sized companies to boost commerce in Gran Canaria and offer exhibitors the opportunity to sell products from past editions and free up stock,” said Minerva Alonso.
On this occasion, the fair will feature “68 exhibitors from different sectors,” who have had the novelty of “an advisory and consulting service available to anyone who wanted to work more carefully on their presence at the fair, making their time at Fisaldo have a more attractive display for visitors,” she said.
Fisaldo will open its doors from Wednesday, June 12, to Sunday, June 16, with uninterrupted hours from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets to attend this edition can be purchased for 1.50 euros on the website www.fisaldo.es or in person at the venue’s access ticket offices. Likewise, entry will be free for people with disabilities, pensioners, retirees, children under twelve, and the unemployed, who must prove their status upon arrival.
For her part, Natalia Santana, the General Director of Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria, celebrated “the good health of the fair after 24 years of history, with numbers that in recent years show a continued growth of visitors and exhibitors.”
Thus, Fisaldo will occupy the entire exhibition area currently available at Infecar, also incorporating almost 30% more new exhibitors than the previous year. This will undoubtedly favour the display of products that visitors to this event can purchase,” Santana said.
Program of activities
In addition to the ample exhibition space that is the protagonist of the Fair of Opportunities, Fisaldo includes a program of parallel activities that will enliven the fair and attract the largest possible number of visitors.
Thus, several sessions of the already popular Fisaldo Catwalk will be held again, where products for sale at the venue can be seen life, modelled by adult and child models. The schedules for these catwalks, which will take place in Pavilion 5, will be on Wednesday and Thursday at 6:00 p.m., Friday at 5:00 p.m., Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., and Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
To this are added the Fisaldo Money raffles, which will be held three times a day on Wednesday through Saturday and twice on Sunday. Two winners will be chosen each time, for a total of 28 winners.
Thus, all visitors who have accessed the venue by reading the QR code at the entrance will participate directly in this raffle. The winner will be announced over the public address system and will receive a 100-euro check to spend at Fisaldo exhibitors.
Live music in the restaurant area will enliven all this. The group Los 600 will perform on Friday the 14th at 6:00 p.m., and Señor Natilla will perform on Saturday the 15th at the same time.
The 24th edition of Fisaldo, the Fair of Opportunities, is promoted and financed by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria and organized by Infecar, with Cajasiete as the official collaborator and the collaboration of the Chamber of Commerce of Gran Canaria.
