To mark its 60th anniversary, Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria, has launched a campaign to collect visual material under the title ‘Your Memories Are Our History’. The aim of this initiative is to recover and highlight the collective memory of the trade fair venue, inviting society as a whole to share photographs documenting their time at Infecar over these six decades.

Since its opening, Infecar has been a driving force for economic, social and cultural activity in Gran Canaria. For this reason, the institution now seeks to complete its historical archive with the perspective of those who have brought the venue to life: its visitors, exhibitors and partners. The campaign is therefore open to anyone or any organisation that has images of fairs, conferences or events held at the venue from its early days to the present.

To facilitate participation, a dedicated space has been set up on Infecar’s official website (infecar.es/60-aniversario), where users can easily upload their photographs, indicating the approximate year and a brief description of the moment captured.

With this initiative, Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria, reaffirms its commitment to Gran Canaria society, establishing itself not only as a business space, but as a meeting place across generations that forms part of the island’s identity.
