Gran Canaria reu\u0301ne todos los condicionantes para la investigacio\u0301n, desarrollo y comercializacio\u0301n debido a su posicio\u0301n geoestrate\u0301gica entre distintas corrientes marinas, su climatologi\u0301a, adema\u0301s de sus ventajas fiscales, el talento, conocimiento y cercani\u0301a con el continente africano y europeo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; padding: 0px; color: #878787; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Por todo ello, el sector pu\u0301blico en Gran Canaria, consciente del potencial que tiene este elemento, ha impulsado algunas medidas para potenciarlo como es la creacio\u0301n de la Plataforma de Excelencia en Biotecnologi\u0301a para la identificacio\u0301n de las especies que mejor reu\u0301nan las condiciones para la comercializacio\u0301n a las distintas industrias anteriormente mencionadas, asi\u0301 como atraer empresas que ayuden a poner en valor y dar tangibilidad al potencial de las algas.
