The La Isla de mi Vida Festival is born to celebrate the identity and cultural creativity of Gran Canaria across two events open to the public. Taking over from Canariona, the new project will take place on 22 and 29 May with a format that broadens the celebration of Canary Islands Day through the island’s roots and collective participation.

The festival will include a school and family-focused event featuring educational centres and municipal music schools from different parts of the island, as well as a second event in Vegueta with Attindamana at its core. A proposal that journeys across Gran Canaria through its 21 municipalities, from the highlands to the sea.
